The way I see it there’s two different types of tropical house. There’s the upbeat “lets kick it at the beach in Cancun Piña coladas and all vibe” and then there’s the deeper “it’s springtime and I just want to sit on my porch with a beer.” Matt Heyer of Toulouse, France has mastered the latter. In his latest project a remix of Novo Amor’s ‘Weather’ Matt adds beautiful instrumentation and nice string chords to round out the mellowed out vocals which makes for a relaxing, uplifting school guaranteed to brighten up even the stormiest of days with the promise of spring-time!
