Vancouver’s fastest-rising producer, Sleepy Tom, has always had a laissez-faire towards staying within the confines of a genre, and his latest offering for Anna Lunoe and Ultra follows suit. Starting off with elements of Jersey club and building on dark, full-sounding keys and robotic arps, his remix of Breathe proves that “Sleepy Tom” is – much like “Dillon Francis” – a genre in and of itself.
