So.. this looks like Virtual DJ or something similar is a Traktor emulator with a multitouch interface. You could well imagine this in use with just about any other program, and apparently the creator is working on compatibility with the bridge (ableton + serato).

What do you guys think? Is this where “DJ’ing” is headed? Will musical performance evolve? Will DJ’ing as we know it now become something specialized and ancient, like VHS tapes?
