(The other Team Canada, I’m getting cable for 2010 and I don’t even really like hockey)

I remember around this time last year a few Grandtheft remixes that I really loved started to surface. GT called me the other day saying he had a few things he wanted to get out there. This time he tackled the much loved Drake track “Best I Ever Had” and Chester French’s “She Loves Everybody”.

The remix of Drake’s popular track is 100% dancefloor fun. Relatively simple, it effectively takes Drake’s track from the bedroom to the dancefloor and amps it up. It isn’t revolutionary, its not going to change the game, but it will get your head bobbing and toes tapping. The kind of song that is perfect for tricking the people who love the genre “Top 40” to get into something a bit different, ultimately this song is a made to make everyone move.

The Chest French remix is a bit more complex. A lot of cool synths going on a the same time, its extremely will mixed. The band really loved the track so they got it out there. The reverb on the chopped of vocal samples gives the track a unique vibe.

I tossed in the “Dance Dance Dance” remix because its pretty dope, nothing new though.

Check him out with Illo somtime this fall, tour dates are on his MySpace
