This is a pretty chill disco house remix by a DJ/Production duo from the Alberta of America, Texas.  Cortinas and Wade have remixed an original track by Alien Six called Afraid of Something.  I don’t think I would play this track at a party, but it’s pretty great to listen to at home on my big speakers.

By the looks of it the two have pretty good distribution through most online retailers.  Their myspace doesn’t have much info on them, and I didn’t receive an epk with this track, but my first observation was that their profile is totally focused on shows (flyers are littering their page) but they only have 3 upcoming shows listed.  Looks like they’re just starting to market themselves but their name is perhaps not particularly established yet.

Definitely hope to hear more from these chaps.  This track is scheduled for release on November 19, 2009 through http://masterbeat.com and later through Beatport.
