Chicago native Bill Salas (a.k.a. Brenmar) is at the forefront of a trendy new production style amongst North America’s young electronic beat-smiths. Taking cues from UK bass/funky producers, Brenmar, along with up-and-comers Kastle, Slava and Nguzunguzu have developed their own distinct approach to club music. Brenmar‘s brand new remix of Javeon McCarthy‘s “Precious” exemplifies this approach effectively. Take note of the clubby rhythms and sped-up synth arpeggios that underpin McCarthy‘s silky smooth vocals. Call it “club music for the present”.
