Norway’s energetic synth pop sensation ST. NIKLAS has been an artist on my radar for a while now. Ever since I heard this guy’s Origo EP about a year ago I’ve had this guy’s upbeat pop projects pulsing through my headphones. Since I’ve been a fan for so long it’s awesome that I now have the privilege to premiere his new track “Porcelain” off his upcoming C-O-O-L EP slated for a September 2nd release.
The track’s nostalgic 80s synth sounds give me a well warmed blast from the past with every listen. Stylish vocals that promise to get stuck in your head melodically detail the artist’s experiences in relationships. If the tune’s on ST. NIKLAS’ upcoming EP are anywhere near as addicting as “Porcelain” I know we’re in for a treat come early September. Check out the track here and get to know the artist. And if you like what you hear be sure to check out Axnes’ remix of ST. NIKLAS’s “Who We Are” covered here.
