It’s been a busy week for my friends down in the City of Angels. Rounding off my recent slew of California-related posts are Costa Mesa natives Ace Future and Rankin. Their collaboration, Wine Teeth, is definitely something different and mixes elements of DnB, trap, and California jams; Rankin’s remix then throws in some tribal inspiration for good measure. Deep, dark, progressive, and weird – just what I was looking for.
