New York producer Nicolas Jaar has been covered several times on Salacious Sound before, but seeing as it’s such a beautiful day in Vancouver today I thought I’d put together my favourites from his SoundCloud and share the love. If you’re unfamiliar with this producer, he makes incredibly organic-sounding productions and draws on many influences from South America (where he lived for much of his youth). Beautiful, eerie melodies and innovative sound production have made Nicolas Jaar the bar I use to compare all other producers in his element to. If you’re interested in more of this sound then I can’t recommend his label Clown & Sunset highly enough. The only thing I can really add is… enjoy.
