The latest artist to take on Usher & Diplo‘s electro-R&B mega-hit “Climax” is rookie producer Paper Diamond.  The Colorado native turned heads a few months back when his radical debut EP was released through Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s imprint (see review here). With his bass-y, moombahton makeover of “Climax”, he proves that the excellence of ‘Wavesight’ was no fluke. Paper Diamond adds his own personal touch to the track as he chops up Diplo‘s synth melodies and accelerates the tempo. He also throws in a deep moombah rhythm, speeds up Usher‘s buttery-smooth vocals and voila! “Climax” is reinvigorated.
