I guess you could call this the zoo. Animal Collective has been the number one topic on the blogosphere today. They are top artists on both hypem.com and elbo.ws. Generally I like to think that I find things early before they blow up and I guess this isn’t really the case this time. The truth is I’m not so sure what all of the hype is about. The music is good, its interesting, one might call it avant garde, but I wouldn’t say I’m a fan. I really want to hear some feedback on this one, is there something I’m not getting, is it hyped for hype sake?
