Kungs latest remix comes courtesy of Jamaican reggae-star OMI from his ME 4 U: The Remixes album. A year ago, the French producer made a name for himself as a master remixer with his flip of Lost Frequencies’ “Are You With Me.” Since then the young prodigy has continued to instill his seductive, light-hearted sound into a number of tracks from various well-known artists, while also finding the time to release some of his own singles. His remix of OMI’s “Midnight Serenade” is yet another example of his deep house production talents. Taking the luminous voice of singer Erik Hassle, Kungs implements a feel-good vibe with laidback guitar hooks, a soothing piano melody, and pensive percussion.
