We’ve been pleasantly blindsided by a new full length Skrillex album this week. The album, titled Recess, has been released as a free stream through…  through a mysterious alien app of course.

With no prior announcements of an upcoming release, Sonny did quite the job keeping these treasures locked in the vault. The album features collaborations with Diplo, Alvin Risk, Kill The Noise, Fatman Scoop, Ragga Twins, Chance The Rapper and more, while exploring a variety of experimental directions.

If you’re not into grabbing the app, the album is available for pre-order on iTunes March 18. In the meantime, check out a couple of my favorites, and hold tight for a full review.
