Deep synths are abound in the latest from LA-based Prep School Recordings’ Dr. Fresch. The chords elegant and natural, the percussion is snappy and perfectly balanced, but I think what stands out most to me is how well-blended the vocal track is into everything else. Effects aren’t overdone, it’s not too wet (fuzzy, if you will) nor is it too dry (whatever the opposite of fuzzy is). It just fits… ya know?
