My biggest gripe with the majority of EDM-trap is that more often than not, it’s a blatant over-use of the 808 purely for the sake of being trendy. The latest track from LOUDPVCK is entirely the opposite, and represents a welcome evolution of EDM-Trap production- something for the hip-hop community to be grateful for. Trap Lords is hip-hop through and through, with that extra production flair that could only come a duo who throw fried chicken into the crowd at very rare shows.
