Flume is one of those producers I can rely on for some great tunes. (Btw, I can’t wait for his stop in Vancouver later this month).  Whenever I see a remix of a song that I already love, I will always give it a listen to see how someone else has hemmed and altered it to make it their own. This new remix of Sleepless feat. Jezzabell Doran comes to you from producer The Ninetys, straight from across the pond.

I don’t know what it is lately, but all of my new music seems to be coming from the UK and I’m totally OK with that.  I think one of the reasons that I love this remix so much is its simplicity.  It does not deviate as much as it recreates some of the same sounds that Flume used into a more crisp and bouncy song that I absolutely adore.  It’s amazing how adding a couple more lines of snares and kicks can totally alter the feel of the song.  Keep an eye out for any new releases by The Ninetys, as they are due for a new EP anytime now.
