Good evening Salacious readers! Earlier today, the renowned BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac  premiéred Perseus‘ re-work of Jessie Ware‘s “Night Light” as part of her ‘Free Music Mondays Feature’. Now, I don’t know about you but I can’t stop listening to “Devotion”, the UK-based R&B singer/songwriter’s breakthrough debut, and this remix from nu-disco/tropical house producer Perseus has only heightened my captivation with said record. Originally a majestic, string-laden exaltation complete with guitar licks, Perseus re-interprets “Night Light” as a bleary-eyed, minimalist reverie. No, it is not mere coincidence that I chose to post this at midnight.
