SalaciousSound is covering this year’s Bluesfest in Ottawa and photographed artists mainly playing on the Electro Stage and River Stage. Due to artist permissions so far we have been unable to photograph any of the Main Stage artists. Nevertheless, it’s been a great festival so far.

Artists we were fortunate enough to have photography pit access to included: Snoop Dogg, A$AP Rocky, The Melvins, Grace Jones and the Nocturnals, Awolnation, Mister Parker, Dragonette, Paul Oakenfold, Sleigh Bells, Tommy Lee, Nobody Beats The Drum, Mustard Pimp, MSTKRFT and Chromeo.

So far the surprise find of the festival has been Nobody Beats The Drum. Their track ‘Blood On My Hands’ is stellar. An honourable mention goes to The Bright Light Social Hour for their unique blend of rock.
