On the Friday of EDC Las Vegas 2012, my cohort Tran and I landed around mid day and quickly inserted ourselves in to the action. Classixx and a host of other great talent were performing at a pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel, and it got pretty silly pretty quickly.

The cover-free event was hosted and sponsored by a number of people, including our friends at Gotta Dance Dirty and SOL REPUBLIC.

Among the highlights were Classixx’ DJ set, the hula-hoop contest, “Supreme from Wu-Tang”, and especially the “head of the boy camp councillors” who generously offered to help me apply sunblock.

And people said that it was just us Canadians that were friendly!
