Hi friends.

I have received a lot of comments and messages over the last few months about the lack of Best o’ features. Sorry. The only explanation I can offer is that it’s really hard to stay on top for a full month to find this much free music, check copyrights, and then to finally put it together. I know how popular this series is, and it’s not going anywhere. Now that I’ve gone full time on the site, I have a new energy for publishing; I really enjoyed putting this article together for you, and I hope you’ll leave me some kind words (or h8) in the comments.

So.. welcome back to the monthly best of the blogosphere – the hardest, most time consuming article I write every month on this site so that you animals, waiting at your computers on the first like vultures circling a dying water buffalo, can listen to a veritable orgasm of awesome music all in one place.

Everything available for download here is good clean remix art, made available for free by the creators. You’ll notice that there are other tracks I’ve chosen to include via embedded soundcloud players; these are songs that I believe need your attention, but I cannot give away.
