French Vanilla is one of two proper female DJs I’ve ever seen work the ones and twos in person (the other being Riviera aka Violca of Mansion fame). I know a few more, but the profession is definitely lacking in solid female talent, and it can be pretty shocking to see her work her thing. She originally began her DJ career as a hip hop dj, playing mostly underground and house parties in Toronto. Having many musical influences, it was only natural that she would extend herself to other electronic genres.

She’s trying to bring that talent international, and has really pulled out all the stops for this competition mix. You folks judge for yourselves, and make sure to favourite if you listen!
