This is a video of “Mr. Tape” spinning a breaks / hip hop set in 1991, using reel to reel tape recorders. The tunes he plays are recorded from the radio on tape, and everything is done live, including the scratching, the pitch-bent notes he plays, and the mashups. Pretty incredible!
