When I came accross this video I contemplated whether or not I should post it on the site. On one hand it is pornographic, on the other it is extremely interesting and well executed. Lets see how the world reacts to this posting. This video’s only failure is the fact that the music is nothing more than a backdrop for an intersting narrative. You will definitely remember the video, but will you remember the music.
I saw this posted on the Pitchfork website and I love it. The video is so beautifully done, you were definitely right in posting this.
I disagree, I love this track. Hard evidence of MA back on form if ever there was. But that’s not to say I don’t like the video as well, I think it actually perfectly compliments the music in the way a good music video should ie it takes the track somewhere unexpected and forces you to consider the song in a whole new light.
I guess I feel the video makes the music a soundtrack rather than the focus, but couldnt argue whether or not thats not a good thing?
