XI/Ultragamma has quickly become one of my favorite local Toronto DJs. Having already made waves as a Dubstep DJ under the name XI; he has recently transformed himself into Ultragamma. This experimental Hip Hop connoisseur has opened my eyes to a plethora of new sounds. I had posted his Live @ One Off Mix a while ago so make sure to check that out to get an idea of what I’m talking about.

A friend of mine asked me whether or not Hudson Mohawke was coming to Toronto since he had upcoming dates in surrounding cities and it lead to me finally downloading his track ZOo00OOm. Probably one of my favorite tracks on Ultragamma’s entire mix; with epic bass, amazing melody, this is the kind of music you can work to, clean to, and when it drops on a big system you’re gonna bounce too.
