Tuesday’s Top Ten Tracks: Nov 3, 2009

Monarch very helpfully posted some stuff we’ve neglected to post over the last couple months, and reposted some older favourites from the last year, and it makes my job this week a lot easier.  Specifically, the Basement Jaxx/Sam Sparro stuff is way up on my list right now.  I was remarking last night that Basement Jaxx and Sam Sparro are different, in terms of electronic artists, for some reason.  I will have to consider it some more, but I think it’s because both make music with an album focus, whereas most of the other my other favourite artists release stuff almost solely as EPs.  I still absolutely love Sam Sparro’s album from last year, and Basement Jaxx’s Scars is right up there with it.

Last Week:

Notorious BIG – Party and Bullshit in the USA
Kardinal Offishall Ft. Clipse – Set It Off (Team Canada Remix)
Lifelike – Sunset
La Roux – Bulletproof (Dean Coleman And Nima Nas 100 Proof Vocal)
Emma-Lee – Until We Meet Again (No Big Deal Remix)
Johnny Cash – Ring of Fire (Black Rob and Obie Trice Remix)
House Boulevard Feat. Samara – Set Me Free (Original Extended Mix)
Frankmusik – Confusion Girl (Russ Chimes Remix)
Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix)
Deadmau5 and Kaskade – I Remember (Caspa Remix)
