Coming Down off of an Electronic Music High

Basement Jaxx. Awesome set, mediocre crowd. Century Room as packed and their set was stacked, but for some reason people didn’t get it. Then number of people sitting on the sidelines saddened me. BUT… on the other hand, the music they played warmed me in new ways. An epic drop of Bohemian Rhapsody which was then built up and dropped into a remix got everyone going, but few were bugging out with massive Dubstep tunes getting dropped with Marshall Jefferson looped over top. I don’t know what to say. I was elated. Since the show ended @ 2 I was able to make it over to Tattoo for Boys Noize where the crowd wanted to have fun. The hour I was able to catch was stellar so hopefully I can make it out to the show in London (I am starting to have some doubts on whether I can swing it).

You were at Century Room..the crowd was more concerned in how they looked that night than hearing great music.
