Z-Trip vs MSTRKRFT = Soundclash of the Titans

As any piece of music or collection of music tends to do, these DJ mixes remind me of a specific place and time in my life. At first, I liked them because of the track selection, the expert mixing, and the sick mashups and reinterpretations of the songs contained within. Now, however, I’m not sure if I love these mixes because of the tracks themselves, or rather just what they remind me of. Nonetheless, they are among my most listened to mixes, and for good reason. The close Eh! Team DJs friend Z-Trip has an amazing set list, including the recent hypem chart topping track ‘Johnny Cash – Ring of Fire (Black Rob and Obie Trice Remix)‘. The MSTKRFT set, on the other hand, has a 5 or 10 minute remix of the practically cult status hit song Chemical Brothers – Salmon Dance.
You guys tell me which you think is the winning mix.

does anyone know what the dubstep song at 3 minutes is??
ewwww fucking hipster bullshit…ztrip’s killlls. mstrkrft’s is pretty ill but shit, cmon…generic ass electro set…
z-trip alll the way. creativity and skill +1000000
anyone with ableton can make mstrkrft’s mix…
z-trip is a beast among men…
Z-Trip definitely takes the cake on this one.. true slayer on the wheels of steel.
as much as I like MSTRKRFT, it was pretty sub par in comparison to Z-Trips domination.
DEMANS: that’s from an old Fugees track called Ready or Not.
Lady at 9:02 = Enya, “Boadicea” – Fugees sampled her.
HIPSTERS ARE THE NEW JOCKS
sounds like a victory!
Defs thinking along the lines of everybody else. Z-Trip blurred the lines and twisted the playlist, wicked mix.
MSTRKRFT was nearly predictable. Awesome producers, but mix was par for the course.
Also, the Enya mix wrecked my brain.
felching is the new skiing
Yes, Z Trip’s not so predictable, but the music doesn’t hook you. It’s kind of a collection of sounds that don’t really connect. MSTRKRFT’s already been immortalized in Salmon Dance, and we’ve seen many good things come from them. I’ll have to say MSTRKRFT on this one =)
loving “i remember” Capsa Mix. Dubstep ?
