The winners of our Emma Lee Remix Competition sent me this new track called Mudslide. With some heavy bass and an interesting melody the track tends to blur boundaries between Hip Hop, Electro and Dubstep. Big Deal? Yes or no? You can check them out live this weekend in Montreal (Where I will be heading for the weekend) with Grandtheft from Team Canada DJs on Thursday @ 1234 and Friday for McGill’s Watercan Halloween alongside our friends Golden Gloves. Since they are playing for a college town I’ve also attached a track they sent me a while back, a little remix of I Love College that they make a little more dancefloor friendly and, at the same time, wobbly.
