I’ve been feeling a bit estranged lately from electronic music lately.. there’s a bulk of older music that I am enjoying listening to and exploring, but little new stuff that I find I like. It occurred to me when I was dj’ing the other night that I a) don’t know what the new shit is, and b) don’t care. I am listening to a lot of hip-hop right now to fill the void, and finding a lot of artists I previously overlooked really have some amazing stuff; that’s for another post though.
I did recently come across a Stanton Warriors single EP called Precinct, and I’ve been listening to a lot of their stuff for the last couple days. I’m on a bit of a b.more/breaks kick now, so if you can recommend anything to help kick this electro funk I’m in I’d appreciate it.
