Music Videos Best Watched Stoned Series Part 1 of 10: Chemical Brothers – Salmon Dance
I grabbed the Chemical Brothers album We Are the Night when it came out in 2007 and it was a huge hit with me and my friends. Â One of the songs that definitely defines my summer 2008 is this one. Â There is literally nothing to take from this video other than “that kid is really high”.
A lot of the Chemical Brothers videos are like this. I guess that’s why they call themselves the Chemical Brothers. My only problem is the fish in the video is a piranha, not a salmon. My personal favorite is the acid “Test.” Which goes along with one of my favorite books “The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.” by Tom Wolf.

The first time I saw this video was in Amsterdam in the middle of an intense ass shroom trip. I couldnt believe what I was actually seeing and entirely convinced myself that I was hallucinating the entire video with the fish talking and was BUGGING out. The next morning, I found the video online and realize that I wasnt trippin as hard as I thought I was, this is just a crazzzy video, amazing nonetheless.
