Emma Lee Remix Competition Submissions #10 of 12

emmalee remixcomp submissionsMany of you are thinking ‘finally – it’s about time!’ Well we feel that way too! Some of the submissions we received in our latest remix competition are absolutely brilliant, and I’m very happy to be sharing these with you today. The interpretations range over a broad span of genres, including reggae, house, and I have split the submissions up in to 12 separate posts so that you can navigate the tracks easily – you’ll find a link to the category view below that will allow you to access the rest of the posts.

In the coming week we hope to collect your feedback about the submissions and post a list of ours, and the label’s/Emma Lee’s favorites. Leave us a note!

    Simon Norberg’s technical proficiency shines through on his track and makes for a genuinely good song. Sarah S’s subdued interpretation really stands out from the bunch with it’s refined attention to detail. I’m waiting on a great dance/electro version… unfortunately Saint Even’s isn’t it.

    the simon norberg mix…. the vocals aren’t even in the same key as the samples..ouch

    Hello People,

    Quick note – I put my remix together at the 11th hour and didn’t quite get it sounding the way I wanted before having to submit it. I’ve since modified my original submission by cleaning up some of the transitions, fills and pumping up the breakdown. Also, I mastered it so it has a lot more punch.
