Emma Lee Remix Competition Submissions #1 of 12
Many of you are thinking ‘finally – it’s about time!’ Â Well we feel that way too! Â Some of the submissions we received in our latest remix competition are absolutely brilliant, and I’m very happy to be sharing these with you today. Â The interpretations range over a broad span of genres, including reggae, house, and I have split the submissions up in to 12 separate posts so that you can navigate the tracks easily – you’ll find a link to the category view below that will allow you to access the rest of the posts.
In the coming week we hope to collect your feedback about the submissions and post a list of ours, and the label’s/Emma Lee’s favorites. Â Leave us a note!

sweet guitars in avid archer’s remix, well done! (not too fond though of the effect on the vocal in the chorus)
angryboyRulZ might have something if the drops were built up more. Alex Lyons’ is deprived of flow and suffers dramatically for that.
The Alex Lyons track seems like it would be better without the Emma Lee vocals. It should be released as a seperate track altogether, not as an Emma Lee remix. I agree with Liam on the angryboyRulZ track. I also agree with Timo on the Avid Archer remix. I think what we’re overlooking is how dope the Ant On Wax remix is!! It really does the track justice and I’m a sucker for that bruk beat stylee! Big up the Ant On Wax you won this first round. Now I’m off to comment on the 11 other submission posts. this is gonna take awhile….
You’re right- Alex Lyon’s track would do much better without the vocals. I’m still not feeling Ant On Wax’s track though, especially give the other options in different posts.
These are awesome! Love hearing this song so many ways! This is only the first 4…its like ear corn…yummy and yummy…
Hey Timo thanks for the compliment. You are right about the chorus but that part of the vocals seemed too stressed to me thats why i had to put it more to the back….
Now i will check the other ones – very interresting.

Archers mix is the only one that really made the song even better. Some of the others are good, but they all take away from the voice….
