I’ve been listening to a lot of very Euro sounding house lately, as have a few friends of mine – I know I’ve said it a few times, but my ears just need a break from the raging electro that took over the circuit last year.  Talking with producers, and from my own experience, it’s clear that the European style of production is in technical terms, of very high quality.  A lot of people here and in North America brush it off as noisy pop, but in a big room the stuff sounds awesome.  I was playing a set at The Social the other night for example, and what seemed to be a group of top 40 lovers were really digging the Euro house and Disco I was throwing at them.
