A lot of people associate Dubstep with “that wobbley sound”. Yeah, it is true that a lot of Dubstep is rooted in the wobble, but there are 3 tracks that move my soul, which are so much more complex than that. These three tracks are my favorite Dubstep tracks out right now. They all happen to be remixes so sue me. Skream’s Let’s Get Ravey Remix of La Roux send shivers down my spine when Skream and Benga turned Wrongbar into a sauna a couple of weeks ago. Chase & Status’ remix of Death was listened to 10 times within the first 5 hours of having been downloaded. My Opera inclined roommate loved it. I always imagine at the end of the night a DJ puts this song on, takes of their headphones and let’s it play out as I stand their with my hands on my face, mouth wide open. I Remember by DeadMau5 is obviously a huge track, Caspa took it and added so much. While this track has a bit more of the expected wobble, the sound has a certain complexity.

You know what it is, all 3 of these songs have extremely melodic vocals. And I guess they just give me goosebumps.
