The AGO’s Surreal Things
The Art Gallery of Ontario has been featuring a new exhibit called “Surreal Things”. Surrealism has always been one of my favorite movements in art for a while. Allowing for open ended interpretation, surrealism has always appealed to my artistic sensibilities. The exhibit has been on for a while and I intend on going over the next week. Will let everyone know my thoughts when I return. I always considered Godspeed You Black Emperor to be surreal music. Don’t know if I’m right, but I’m certainly intrigued to hear your thoughts.
