 DJ Cal – Late Fees (The Disco Mix)

latefeesSo most of this stuff is classic house.. some were songs I first started learning to mix with, particularly Rain Down Love.  Freemasons embody pretty much everything I love about more classic sounding house, mixing disco style with inspiration from the Euro chill-out genre.  Juan Maclean is a ‘disco banger’ (oxymoron?) in there for Monarch, the DFA mix of Dare is my trademark ‘I need a drink from the bar and a piss’ while DJ’ing a nightclub song, and Lola’s is one of the most epic house tracks of all time.
