Meech founded the popular photoblog DSRNR that eventually became a Toronto institution. With a weekly party at Riva Supper Club in the Little Italy that is absolutely insane, Meech is slowly becoming known Toronto’s go to Party DJ. Less concerned with how he mixes and more focused on what he mixes, how the crowd reacts, and destroying the dance floor; he has become a regular at local spots such as The Social, Wrongbar, West Lounge (Opening the Klever show). Next Monday he will be opening for one of my favorite producers these days. Miami Horror will be playing a Monday Meeting at Social and if you don’t know about Social Mondays, now you know. Meech will be getting the crowd rowdy as the enjoy 2 dollar drinks in anticipation of an amaizing Disco House set.

The mix received over 600 downloads this morning from being sent out to DSRNR’s Facebook group. That goes to show the amount of love that Meech gets from his following. 66% of his facebook group downloaded his mix within 2 hours of them being told about it. Anyway I have to show the man some love, he has always given us your due, and definitely deserves his. Look for big things for Meech over the next little while as he will be hitting the road to take his unique style of party rocking across North America.
