Friday was one of the best nights I’ve experienced at CiRCA in some time now. Seeing Hercules and Love Affair’s live DJ set was one of the most memorable moments I’ve spent in any nightclub. Playing vinyl disco classics they made me move and feel like I was at Paradise Garage in the 70s. The greatest thing was, this was the opening act. LCD Soundsystem came to play a little darker and a little more modern but maintained the movement on the floor and the spectacular vibe of the party. I have included a couple of disco house tracks. Anyone who has been out with me in the past couple of weeks knows that I’ve been raving about Disco house. In my opinion its the best House subgenre to dance to. That being said, hearing the warm sound of sultry and soulful voices over the mainroom system only went to show that Disco will never die as long as people love to dance.
