This last week has been busy, but a lot of fun. I had a solid gig on Thursday, and I made some serious headway on my latest mixtape, did some serious backend work and planning for the site, I got out to a couple clubs and saw DJ Medley and AutoErotique, and firmed up my plans to hit NYC next week. Among other things there, I am looking forward to getting a couple new pieces of hardware while I’m down, and getting beers with The American Dream Team.

I’ve heard some great stuff this week, but the Diplo album is definitely the best.  Most of the tracks I’ve heard and have been spinning for quite a while, but a couple I hadn’t heard yet.  In case you haven’t come across it yet, it’s called Decent Work For Decent Pay.  I’m serious when I say if there are only a couple of albums you buy this year, this should be one of them.  There’s really no wonder why big artists are pursuing this very talented artists to remix their tracks.  No other artist is so expertly blending styles like dubstep, electro-house, funk, and hip-hop.  Here’s the tracklist:
