Hey, we’re all concerned about our privacy these days, and you have a right to know what we know about you!
I can tell you that we don’t know much! All of the information we collect from you when you visit our site is very common stuff that almost every website on the internet does – nothing that we’d ever use to identify you personally. Basically, we use an analytics program from everyone’s favorite search provider (you know the one!) I like to see things like how many people are looking at our site and where in the world they’re from so that I can design content that appeals to those groups. I also look at what browser you’re using and what resolution your screen is at so I can design the site properly! If we do share this information with third parties it’s all aggregate info – nothing personally identifiable! See? Not so scary..
Also, I should mention that we like to link to other sites, and while we’ve linked to them because at the time we linked to them they seemed ok, we can’t be held responsible for any content on their site, and don’t necessarily condone anything found on them.
One final thing – this policy is subject to change as our needs do.
Here’s a word from one of our advertisers that sums up what I’m trying to say:
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here.
